During the making I first made the bodysuit and fitted it to my model. Then I approached the metal work department to discuss the creation of my metal cage I needed to hold the fly heads up around my model. This was important as it couldn't restrict her movements too much due to her needing to dance in the performance. After the creation of the cage I used my millinery skills to create and block out my fly heads decorated with smocking and eyes created from millinery wire and holographic organza. The heads played a focal role in the final look.
